House Democrats Accuse Cyber Ninjas of QAnon and Trump Ties

Congressional Democrats are pressuring Cyber Ninjas, the company behind Arizona election audit, demanding to prove, among other things it has no ties to former president Donald Trump or QAnon conspiracy.

Their 13-page letter- signed by committee chair Carolyn Maloney and Representative Jamie Raskin- to the Florida-based cybersecurity outfit cites House Oversight & Reform Committee’s concerns about its highly unusual effort to conduct the legislature-ordered audit of Maricopa County ballots.

Raskin also chairs the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.

The Committee, citing media reports, accuses Cyber Ninjas of lack of experience claiming its practices are sloppy and insecure and pointing that the company is being funded by individuals who spread the ‘big lie’ of debunked voter fraud allegations in the November 2020 presidential election.

The letter notes that the committee is trying to determine if the privately funded audit conducted by the company in Arizona protects the right to vote or is an effort to promote conspiracy theories and reverse the result of a free and fair election for partisan gain.

It claims that substantial funding for the audit has come from partisan dark money groups run by people who have sought to overturn the 2020 election based on unfounded conspiracy theories.

The Committee demands Cyber Ninjas to hand them over any communications with Trump or his formal or informal representatives and associates by July 28, mentioning here Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, attorney Sidney Powell  and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, among others.
