ODNI Caught Red-Handed Using Photoshop on Cover Photo of Diversity Report

Social media users are roundly mocking the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) after it was caught red-handed using bought and obviously Photoshopped image on the cover of its annual diversity report, according to New York Post.

The photo of smiling, diverse office staffers titled “Portrait Of Multi-Cultural Office Staff Standing In Lobby” was bought from the stock photography company Shutterstock, Photoshopped later by adding a woman in a wheelchair and a blind man with a seeing-eye dog and used as a cover for the “Hiring and Retention of Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities in the United States Intelligence Community” report.

The embarrassing issue was first pointed out by Republican political consultant and podcaster Luke Thompson, who tweeted Thursday: “Siri, show me the worst use of stock photos ever.”.

The report, which noted that the percentage of minorities and people with disabilities among civilian intelligence community employees increased to 27 percent and 11.9 percent, respectively, in 2020 with the percentage of female civilian intelligence community employees holding steady at 39.3 percent.

But the doctored image gained more traction than the report with one Twitter saying that things like this make you pray there actually is a shadow government running things and Daily Wire senior editor Ashe Schow wondering whether the office is diverse enough to take its own photo.
