Governor of California Asks Residents to Cut Back Water Usage amid Drought Season

Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California had requested from residents in his state to voluntarily reduce the usage of water this summer in the wake of recent droughts and high temperatures, Fox News informed citing certain reports.

Newsom said that he has hopes that people will once again use the mindset from the previous drought and extend it with 15% additional reduction voluntarily.

He also mentioned that this should not only be applied to residences but also to industrial commercial capacities and agricultural operations.

Due to the recall election scheduled in two months, Newsom so far did not issue calls for water restrictions.
