GOP Lawmaker’s Push for Supreme Court to Annul State Gun Legislation Backed by 168 Republican Congressmen

GOP Representative Claudia Tenney from New York is attempting to push the US Supreme Court to annul a state legislation that limits who can carry concealed guns in public places and outside their homes, Fox News informed.

Tenney has the support of 168 Republicans from the House.

Tenney and the group of GOP lawmakers will submit an amicus brief that supports the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association lawsuit against the state of New York, arguing that the legislation that does not allow licenses to law-abiding citizens who want to carry a handgun without any proper cause determined by the state, violates the Second Amendment rights.
