A poll by ABC News and The Washington Post published on Sunday shows that 50 percent of the Americans approve how President Joe Biden does his job, 42 percent disapproved him as president while 8 percent of the respondents had no opinion.
The survey results suggest that Biden is overall approved in his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic (62 percent) with 31 percent opposing his policies in this regard and 7 percent not having an opinion on the issue.
When it comes to Biden’s policies on crime and handling of the immigration situation at the US-Mexico border, most of the respondents do not approve them with 48% and 51%, respectively.
On top of that, only 33% of the respondents approve the president’s way to resolve the border issue in and another 38% are satisfied with how Biden handles the crime issues.
ABC News/WaPo nationwide phone survey was conducted from June 27-30 on 907 people aged 18 and over with a margin of error at +/- 3.5%.
