Republican members who support the legislation of strengthening election security lauded the Supreme Court’s decision in the Brnovich v. DNC case, Fox News informed.
The case was centered on the Arizona voting rules that banned ballot harvesting and urged the provisional ballots that were cast at the wrong precinct to be excluded.
The ruling is mostly celebrated by the Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich who was named in and argued the case.
Brnovich said that he believed that the law was always on their side but kept his overconfidence for himself as he is fully aware that sometimes justices are hard to predict.
The highest court ruling confirmed the state’s ability to enforce legislation to secure the election process.
Brnovich also emphasized the importance of enforcing measure that will curtail fraud.
