Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, gave his endorsement to Matt Salmon, the Arizona candidate for governor, due to the fact that Salmon has proved himself as conservative, Fox News informed.
Cruz stated he is proud to support his friend Matt Salmon and that assuming the gubernatorial post his top priority will be the security and safety of all Arizona residents.
The senator also said that Salmon is set to proceed with the work he started in Congress and defend the state from all kinds of threats, including the ones that come from foreign actors, but always under the principle of conservatism.
