Biden, although Overseas, Blasts GOP Efforts to Introduce Voting Restrictions

US President Joe Biden once again blasted the efforts of Republican-led states to introduce voting restrictions, as he arrived in Switzerland ahead of the highly-anticipated summit with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Fox News informed.

Biden took to Twitter to say that there are coordinated attacks on the voting rights in the US, and that Congress should pass legislation to ease the process of voting for the eligible US citizens and curtail the attack of the sacred right to vote.

Democrats and Republicans have generally used a traditional approach that says “politics stops at the water’s edge,” which means that partisan criticism is avoided while political figures travel overseas. Biden’s campaign blasted former President Trump when he used this kind of attacks in 2019.

President Biden arrived in Europe last Wednesday in order to hold meetings with several world leaders.
