US President Joe Biden will meet with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, among others, later this month, the White House said.
“President Biden will meet with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on June 10 to reaffirm the strength of the special relationship between the US and the UK,” White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement. The US leader will then attend the G-7 summit in Cornwall, South England, on June 11-13.
Biden and his wife, Jill, will be received by British Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle in London on the evening of June 13, Buckingham Palace said earlier on Thursday.
“The president will leave the United Kingdom for Brussels, Belgium, where he will attend the NATO summit on June 14,” the White House said. “The president will also meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss the full range of bilateral and regional issues.”
