Police in Texas arrested an alleged neo-Nazi citizen, believed to be a threat to national security, after investigators intercepted a message indicating he was planning a mass shooting at a Walmart, Fox News reports.
The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas Blevins, 28, in Kerrville, about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio, after investigators confirmed his affiliation and networking with extremist ideologies and determined he was capable of following through with the threat.
The office posted an image of Blevins and evidence they found in his home that included firearms, ammunition, electronic evidence, concentrated THC, radical ideology paraphernalia and handwritten documents as well as flags depicting the swastika and other Nazi symbols and extremist books.
Blevins, who’s currently on felony probation and is prohibited from possessing firearms, remains in Kerr County Jail on a warrant for a terroristic threat to create public fear of serious bodily injury, on a $250,000 bond.
