Senator Rand Paul claimed that he will not get vaccinated due to the face that he already had COVID-19 and now believes that he has a natural immunity to it, Fox News informed.
The Republican, was one of the first from the Senate to catch the Covid-19 in March last year. For a WABC 770 AM show, he said that abstaining from getting the jab was his personal decision.
Paul, who is an ophthalmologist, stated that unless he sees a proof that the jab is much more effective than going through the virus, he will not change his mind.
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has stimulated the people who have already been through the Covid-19 to still get the shot due to the fact that experts are still not sure how long the natural protection and immunity lasts after the process of recovery.
