According to White House visitor logs, the leading teachers unions were the first to visit Biden’s administration, Fox News informed.

Jill Biden was hosting Randi Weingarten, the President of American Federation of Teachers and Becky Pringle, President of the National Education Association, in a virtual meeting one day after the inauguration of President Biden.

Biden administration was under fire after the CDC was in constant communication with the AFT before the agency revealed its guidance for reopening schools.

Capitol Hill Republicans criticized the administration and Democrats for beholding to unions, saying that they impeded children’s ability to go back in the classrooms for a traditional instruction.

In addition, White House’s decision not to apply some ethical standards for former labor union employees that now work as administration officials has enraged GOP groups.
