The three major network TV news outlets — ABC News, CBS News and NBC News — on Friday declared Joe Biden the winner of the presidential race in Georgia, with President Trump taking North Carolina, New York Post reports.
If the projections prove accurate, Biden will clinch victory by the same Electoral College margin that Trump secured in 2016 against Hillary Clinton — with a lopsided 306-232 result.
Trump has not conceded the race and says fraud, counting errors and illegal policies may have tipped the scales in narrow contests, including Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, on Wednesday announced a hand recount of Georgia’s results, where Biden leads by just 14,072 votes.
