President Donald Trump’s personal attorney said he was planning to sue Congress in federal court to put an end to a “lawless action,” Newsweek reported.
Rudi Giuliani messaged the White House correspondent of The Atlantic, Elaina Plott, revealing his plan to file a suit against members of the Congress.
Plott shared the messages on Twitter while Giuliani was telling Fox News that he had already contacted “civil rights lawyers and a constitutional lawyer” who advised Trump and his administration members and staff bring suits against representatives on Capitol Hill.
Asked what he was planning to do next by Plott, Giuliani said: “Looking at a jaw suit to end lawless action.”
“Who are you going to sue?” the reporter asked. Giuliani then texted: “The Swamp.”
“Trump v The Swamp,” he added. When asked how he intended to sue “The Swamp,” Giuliani simply replied: “In federal court.”
