RON’S COMMENT: Today’s average is based on six polls, ranging from 39% (Reuters) to 48% (Rasmussen). Without these two extremes, it would be 42%…. President Trump’s disapproval rating averages 53% today (+1 from yesterday), which is 10 points higher than his approval rating.

Joe Biden (D): 52%
Donald Trump (R): 44%
Howard Schultz (Ind): 4%

RON’S COMMENT: Biden beats Trump by 8 points, even with Schultz in the race as an independent.

Donald Trump (R): 46%
Beto O’Rourke (D): 44%
Howard Schultz (Ind): 10%

RON’S COMMENT: Trump wins a trial heat against O’Rourke and Schultz. He gets the same percentage of the vote (46%) that he received in 2016 against Hillary Clinton. Note that Schultz does much better when the Democratic nominee is O’Rourke as opposed to Biden.

RON’S COMMENT: 41% of voters nationwide report having a gun in their home. That includes 50% of Republicans and 26% of Democrats.
