RON’S COMMENT: Today’s average is based on five polls, ranging from 41% (Reuters) to 49% (Rasmussen). Without these two extremes, it would be 43%…. President Trump’s disapproval rating averages 52% today, which is 8 points higher than his approval rating.

RON’S COMMENT: This New Hampshire primary poll shows Biden, Sanders and Harris holding the top three positions, as do most national polls. These results should be especially disappointing to fourth-place finisher Warren, who represents the neighboring state of Massachusetts…. When asked for their second choice, Harris was first with 28%, then came Biden at 26%, Booker 24%, Warren 22%, Sanders 21% and O’Rourke 20%…. Sanders won the 2016 New Hampshire primary with 60% of the vote…. This poll finds that the most important quality in a Democratic candidate is his or her chance of beating Trump: 33% pick electability as the top quality, while 22% want honesty and trustworthiness and 20% want someone who agrees with them on issues…. Interestingly, 26% of primary voters (which includes Democrats and independents) say they would NOT vote for Warren if she were the nominee, 23% would NOT vote for Bloomberg and 21% would NOT vote for Sanders.

RON’S COMMENT: Looking at only Republicans: 45% would use the word “honest” to describe Trump, while 8% would definitely not use it and 47% don’t know…. 30% of Republicans would use the word “religious” to describe Trump, while 14% would definitely not and 57% don’t know…. 68% of Republicans would use the word “patriotic” to describe Trump, while 2% would definitely not and 29% don’t know…. 74% of Republicans would use the word “strong” to describe Trump, while 3% would definitely not and 23% don’t know.
