TRUMP JOB APPROVAL: AVERAGE 43%

RON’S COMMENT: Today’s average is based on four polls, ranging from 38% (Reuters) to 50% (Rasmussen). Without these two extremes, it would be 42%…. President Trump’s disapproval rating averages 54% today, which is 11 points higher than his approval rating. Note: We still don’t have a clear post-SOTU rating average.

RON’S COMMENT: Though it’s only by one point, Pelosi has the highest favorability rating (43%) of any of these four national political figures measured. Her positive rating among Democrats is 75%. She has clearly improved her national standing since she’s taken back the Speaker’s gavel.

RON’S COMMENT: 23% of Democrats, 36% of independents and 56% of Republicans want the U.S. to immediately withdraw from Syria…. It’s amazing how President Trump’s positions affect the partisan alignment on these issues.
