Bolton and Netanyahu Call Iran Deal ‘Wretched’ and ‘Disastrous’

U.S. adviser for national security, John Bolton, has been regretting the “wretched” nuclear deal with Iran, Fox News noticed from the talks Bolton had with the Israeli prime minister.

According to reports, in his talks with Benjamin Netanyahu, Bolton said that the U.S. has seen the “highest importance” in the prevention of Iran to bring in nuclear weapons and that was the reason President Donald Trump pulled out of the accord that the Obama administration had negotiated before, and the reason behind the “stiff sanctions.”

Netanyahu conformed with this statement, calling the deal “disastrous” and praising President Trump’s decision to drop out as “historic.”

Bolton has been a strident critic of the nuclear deal and has pushed for greater pressure on Tehran to ensure it halts its support for militant groups in the Mideast and stops development of ballistic missiles.

A former ambassador to the United Nations under President George W. Bush, Bolton is a longtime hawkish advocate for Israel.
