Donald Trump, Least Racist Person Anyone Will Ever Interview

On Sunday, President Donald Trump finally responded to the comments labelling him as a racist. The remarks were made after Trump referred to and described several nations as “shithole countries,” during an official meeting.

“No. I’m not a racist. I’m the least racist person you will ever interview,” Trump said to the reporters before going to the Trump International Golf Course.

President Trump again denied saying what was reported by the senators attending the Oval Office meeting.

“Did you see what various senators in the room said about my comments? They were not made,” Trump added.

Last week after The Washington Post reported that President Trump described and referred to immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and some African nations as immigrants coming from “shithole countries.”

The Hill reports that although Trump on Friday denied the allegation with a tweet where he said that he did not say “anything derogatory about Haitians,” the White House still did not officially denied the incident.

“Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country. Never said ‘take them out.’ Made up by Dems,” Trump’s tweet.

The meeting where the racist comments were made, was part of a bipartisan assembly in the Oval Office. According to The Washington Post, Trump referred to Haiti and African nations as “shithole countries.” Trump’s Twitter denial came out before the lawmakers that were part of the meeting publicly confirmed The Washington Post story.

The Democratic Illinois Senator Dick Durbin confronted Trump’s denying the “shithole countries” incident where he referred to Haiti and African countries with the same term. Durbin said that Trump’s denials are “not true.”

The Washington Post also reported that Senators Graham and Cotton as well as Representative Goodlatte were present at the meeting and surprised of the comments made by Trump.
