Trump Promises to Build Border Wall in Thanksgiving Tweets

President Donald Trump wrote several tweets about Thanksgiving and wished his followers happy holiday, but used the opportunity to tout the strong performance of the stock market and to write a word or two about the wall. He promised to build the wall along the border between the U.S and Mexico.

“Happy Thanksgiving,, your Country is starting to do really well. Jobs coming back, highest Stock Market ever, Military getting really strong, we will build the wall, V.A. taking care of our Vets, great Supreme Court Justice, record cut in regs, lowest unemployment in 17 years….!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

A few minutes later he just tweeted: “Make America great again!”

According to the Labor Department, last month employers added 261,000 jobs, and the unemployment rate fell to 4.1 percent. This is the lowest level since December of 2000, when it was 4.1 percent. The president and his aides often take credit for the stock boom, The Hill reported.

A few days ago Trump repeated his calls to build the wall along the southern border after the death of a U.S. border agent. The agent died after he was injured while on patrol in Texas.

“We will seek out and bring to justice those responsible. We will, and must, build the Wall!” Trump promised a few days ago.

The wall was one of the key promises that Trump gave during the campaign last year. Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore recently called Trump’s administration to deploy the military to fortify the border with Mexico. He also expressed his support for Trump’s initiative to build a wall.
