Donald Trump Voters Would Support Him Again

Majority of the voters who supported President Donald Trump last year, would do the same thing again. The Politico/Morning Consult poll, conducted on the anniversary of the election, shows that 82 percent of those who voted for Trump, would do the same thing again if they had the chance. Democrat Hillary Clinton, on the other side, would get 78 percent of the votes she got last year from her supporters.

The percentage of the voters who would choose another candidate is almost the same on both sides. Seven percent of Trump voters and eight percent of Hillary voters would do that. Meanwhile, the number of Trump voters who would support him if he runs for 2020 election is smaller. About 76 percent of Trump voters would vote for him again in 2020, while eight percent would vote for the Democrat, the poll shows. On the other side, 90 percent of Hillary voters would vote for her, and three percent would vote for Trump. About 16 percent of Trump voters and seven percent of Clinton voters don’t know whom they would support in 2020.

When it comes to supporters of the Democratic or Republican Party, 84 percent of Democratic voters would vote for the candidate of their party, and 74 percent of the Republican voters would vote for Trump. At the same time, 40 percent of the independents would vote for the Democrat, 30 percent for Trump and 30 percent don’t know whom they would support. The poll shows that 46 percent of the voters would support any Democrat, while 36 percent of them would support Trump.

According to another poll, conducted by SSRS for CNN, 62 percent of the registered voters think that Trump should not be elected again in 2020 and 35 percent think that he should be reelected. In the meantime, Politico/Morning Consult poll, which surveyed 1,990 registered voters, shows that 52 percent of the voters think that Trump will complete his term in office, while 37 percent think that he will not make it.
