The U.S. plans to explore every diplomatic option on North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs and wants to see loopholes in the North Korean sanctions regime closed, Reuters reports, citing U.S. disarmament ambassador Robert Wood’s statement on Friday.
“We are not taking any options off the table but … we are pursuing the diplomatic track right now,” Wood said when asked if war or a military strike was possible.
“That’s where we are. We want to exhaust all diplomatic options,” Wood said.
