A hidden money group backed by a Swiss billionaire sent a multimillion-dollar infusion of cash to a dark money nonprofit connected with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Fox News informed.

According to tax documents, the Pelosi-aligned nonprofit organization, House Majority Forward got a $3 million contribution from the California-based Fund for a Better Future in 2020, which was its highest donation at the time.

Neither group discloses its funders.

However, the Berger Action Fund, a nonprofit founded by Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss, declared on its own tax filings that it had donated $25 million to the Fund for a Better Future between April 2019 and March 2021.

The Pelosi-aligned House Majority PAC’s nonprofit subsidiary, House Majority Forward, aims to keep Democrats in the House of Representatives.

According to federal documents, the charity transferred $10 million into its linked PAC in 2020.

In 2020, the Wyss-backed Fund For a Better Future invested heavily in the nonprofit organization of Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.

The Washington Free Beacon informed on Friday that the fund gave Abrams’ Fair Fight Action, which focuses on election laws, a $3 million check.

According to the New York Times, Wyss has discreetly established himself as a big donor to left-wing charities.

The Swiss billionaire works by sending money through his nonprofit organizations to other liberal organizations, many of which are involved in election-related activities such as voter registration drives.

Meanwhile, his citizenship has been scrutinized.

APT, a watchdog group, unearthed multiple documents that cast doubt on his citizenship, including a 2021 Securities and Exchange Commission file in which he claims to be a “citizen of Switzerland.”

The APT is suing the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for failure to act on a complaint it made against Wyss last year.

APT wants the panel to look into whether the foreign billionaire’s donations broke federal law.
