Trump Сalls for ‘MAGA Nation to Rise Up’ on Eve of Jan 6 Riot Anniversary

Former president Donald Trump has called on his supporters from MAGA to “rise up” against the government, on the eve of the first anniversary of his supporter’s January 6 Capitol riot.

In a statement released by the Save America PAC, Trump called upon the “MAGA nation” to rise up and oppose President Joe Biden for a vaccine mandate that so far has not been suggested by the administration whatsoever.

Trump slammed Biden for “talk” without sources or references, claiming that his administration would make a vaccine mandate for school children, and would also force schools to shut when there are Covid surges. He said the MAGA nation should “rise up and oppose this egregious federal government overreach.”

No country-wide mandate has been issued, nor mentioned by the Biden administration. Vaccine mandates are state-government decisions. Mandates for public schools are decided either by state government, or by the school district.

But in Trump’s lengthy statement, he neglects relaying these facts. Instead, he pointed to reports that the Detroit Public Schools Community District is considering a vaccine mandate for students, and blamed it on the Biden administration. He also claimed other “Democrat-run places” were deciding upon similar proposals.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended — not mandated — that Americans aged five and older should receive their vaccinations in order to prevent severe hospitalization or even death from Covid.

Trump was recently booed by his own supporters after confirming alongside Bill O’Reilly that he had received Covid vaccinations and boosters.

Trump’s statement came on the eve before the U.S. marks the first anniversary of the Capitol building insurrection, which was the most violent attack on the Capitol since the War of 1812. Those participating in the Jan. 6 riot were Trump supporters, and it’s believed that Trump’s speech incited it after he called upon supporters to “fight like hell” and “stop the steel.”
