Taylor Greene Suspended from Twitter Due to Violation of Policies

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, from Georgia., was permanently banned from Twitter for distributing COVID-19 “misinformation,” according to the social media firm, Fox News informed.

Twitter issued a statement saying that the company has permanently suspended the account of Marjorie Taylor Greene due to constant violations of the Covid-19 policies.

They argued that according to their policy strike system, they will immediately suspend every account that will violate the policies set in place.

@RepMTG, Greene’s congressional Twitter account, is still operational.

On GETTR, a conservative social media network founded by Jason Miller, a former assistant, and spokesman for former President Donald Trump, the congresswoman responded to the ruling.

According to Rolling Stone, Greene tweeted on Saturday about an “extraordinarily high number of covid vaccination deaths” that she claims are “ignored.”

Throughout the pandemic, Twitter had regularly temporarily suspended Greene’s account for alleged falsehoods.

She was most recently punished for one week and threatened with a permanent ban in August after she claimed that COVID-19 vaccines were “failed.”
