Bitcoin price almost reached 60 thousand US dollars on Friday morning, having risen to this level for the first time since April, according to trading data from Binance exchange, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of the trading volume.
Bitcoin rose in price by 2.6%, to 59.61 thousand dollars. Earlier in the course of trading, the indicator reached 59,998 US dollars, which is the highest level since April 18, and also only 7.5% less than the historical record of 64.85 thousand dollars.
According to the CoinMarketCap portal, which calculates the average price for more than 20 exchanges, bitcoin has risen in price by 2.7% – also up to 59.61 thousand dollars. The dynamics are calculated during the whole day.
Since the beginning of the month, bitcoin has risen in price by almost 36%, from 43.82 thousand dollars.
The price of the cryptocurrency returned to growth after the September decline of 7%, which followed after two consecutive months of growth in value in July and August – a total of almost 35%. In April, a historical record of 64.85 thousand dollars was reached.
