Gregg Abbott’s Office Fires Back after a Judge Blocks Order for Stopping Drivers Carrying Immigrants

The office of Gregg Abbott, the Governor of Texas, quickly responded on Tuesday to the federal judge who barred his executive order that called for state troopers to intercept drivers who are suspected of carrying migrants in order to stop the spread of Covid-19, Fox News informed.

According to the statement, the recent order of the court is based on some limited evidence and temporary, adding that the office will provide the court with the needed evidence in order to support the order aimed at protecting all Texans.

The statement also accused the Biden Administration of releasing migrants tested positive for Covid-19 in the communities in Texas, exposing Texas residents to infection.

It also states that the order is aimed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and protect all the residents of the state.
