Iowa Governor Dismisses Biden’s Request for $100 Incentive for Vaccinated People

Kim Reynold, the Republican Governor of Iowa has rejected the request of US President Joe Biden that local and state government should use federal government funds to incentivize people to receive the vaccine against the Covid-19, Fox News informed.

According to Associated Press, Pat Garrett, the spokesman of Reynolds said that she has no intentions to give $100 of federal funds to each person that has received the Covid-19 vaccine.

Sarah Ekstrand from Iowa’s Department of Public Health stated in an email that the state’s strategy regarding the vaccine will remain unchanged.
