Republican Representative Liz Cheney from Wyoming once again sided with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her decision to veto two Republican nominees to become members of the select January 6 committee, Fox News informed.

The committee was set to include lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, but slightly more Democrats than Republicans, in order to probe and report what happened in the attack of the US Capitol on January 6.

Cheney spoke to reporters at the Capitol saying that she agrees with the House Speaker Pelosi’s decision.

Pelosi vetoed Republican Representatives Jim Jordan from Ohio and Jim Banks from Indiana from becoming part of the select committee after their nomination by Kevin McCarthy the House Minority Leader.
