Texas GOP Governor Greg Abbott tweeted on Tuesday accusations towards US President Joe Biden for his willful spread of ‘misinformation’ concerning state GOP’s radical election overhaul legislation, Fox News informed.
President Biden has undoubtedly rebuked the legislation while visiting Old City in Philadelphia, saying that the proponents of this bill and the security measures it covers are engaging in what resembles a Jim Crow assault in the 21st century.
Biden’s comments arrive one day after Democrats from Texas fled to Washington DC in an attempt to obstruct the GOP-controlled Legislature in maintaining a quorum to approve legislation that will impose new restricting measures on voting in the state.
