Eric Adams Secures his Place as Democratic Candidate for the NYC Mayoral Race

Candidate for NYC mayor, Eric Adams won the Democratic primary on Tuesday, securing his place as the Democratic candidate, Fox News informed.

If elected, Adams will be the second Black candidate to assume the mayoral position in the Big Apple.

Adams beat the once presidential candidate Andrew Yang, the top contender Kathryn Garcia, and Maya Wiley, the candidate who was endorsed by the NY Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The AP has declared Adams as the winner on Tuesday taking into account the most absentee ballots.
