Republican Lawmakers Torn over Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination for Military Members

US lawmakers are quarreling over the new reports that the Army members might be required to get the Covid-19 vaccine, Fox News informed.

Republican Representative Thomas Massie took to Twitter to say that he found out that members of the military are thinking of leaving their service if forced to take a Covid-19 vaccine.

Massie pushed a bill in June that is set to ban any requirement for military members to get vaccinated. The legislation has 23 cosponsors, including Andy Biggs, Lauren Boebert, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger, in a reply to Massie’s tweet accused him of pandering, adding that all the members of the military are required to take many other vaccines in order to be able to serve.
