US President Joe Biden seemed as he was trying to check on his notes after he was confronted by media on whether Russia was the culprit of the latest ransomware attack, Fox News informed.
The confrontation occurred on Saturday at a store in Traverse City in Michigan while the president was shopping.
Biden interrupted a reporter who was trying to ask him if the Russians are behind the ransomware attack of the IT software company Kaseya, and said that they still do not know whether Russia is the culprit.
Biden after that reached for a piece of paper in his pocket and put on a pair of glasses, just to say that he has been briefed about the attack but still seemed confused about the question.
Critics on social media suggested that this only proves that Biden’s mental capacities are declining, describing the footage as pathetic, embarrassing, and unbelievable.
Richard Grenell, former National Intelligence director said that he believes the media is trying very hard to protect the public from Biden’s behavior. He mentioned those who were following him in Michigan were more interested in which flavors of ice cream he has picked.
