Kamala Harris, the US Vice President is set to visit on Friday the US southern border with Mexico, CNBC informed.
The announcement comes nearly 3 months after President Biden put her to be in charge of curtailing the migrant flow.
GOP officials have blasted the duo for not visiting the border during their first months in office in the wake of the increased flow of migrants on the border.
According to a statement by her spokeswoman Symone Sanders, Harris is set to visit El Paso, Texas and she will be accompanied by Alejandro Mayorkas, the Homeland Security Secretary.
