Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary said on Monday that Biden administration values higher ethical standards than any previous administration, Fox News informed.
Psaki gave the statement in response for recent reports who accuse of alleged nepotism in the Biden administration.
The Press Secretary also said they are proud of the pace of staffing up pointing out that this is one of the most diverse administrations in the history of the US. She also added that they expect everyone to abide by these ethical standards.
However, Psaki’s sister was appointed as the Department of Health and Human Services’ senior adviser in March. She was not asked a question on this topic.
Psaki did say that she is aware that her sister was appointed to that position last week but claimed that the sole reason is that Stephanie Psaki is even more qualified than she is to be part of the administration.
