Nebraska to Help Texas with Border Security by Sending State Troopers

Pete Ricketts, the Governor of Nebraska stated that he is going to send state troopers to Texas this month in order to help the local authorities with the issue of border security in the wake of the immigration crisis, Fox News informed.

Ricketts said that he is responding to Greg Abbott’s recent call for other state governors to send help in the form of law enforcement resources. The Nebraska governor claimed that President’s immigration policies have further worsened the crisis on the border.

Rickets also stated that Nebraska is very happy to delve in with sending some assistance to Texas, in order for the state to protect their people and keep the community safe.

The Governor also mentioned that he will send a group of 25 Nebraska state troopers to Del Rio in Texas. The group of troopers is set to work together with the Department of Public Safety in Texas.
