Greene Issues Apology for Equating House Mask Mandate to Holocaust

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene issued an apology on Monday for insulting people with her recent comparisons of the required mask mandate in the House with the Holocaust, Fox News informed.

Talking to reporters outside Capitol, Taylor Greene said that she is really sorry for offending people with her comments, saying that she had payed a visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington earlier that day. She added that there can never be any comparison with the horrors of the Holocaust.

Her remarks were a very rare statement of regret, as she is very well known of embracing violent and offensive conspiracies and confronting colleagues from the progressive lines.

Greene’s apology arrives after three weeks of her appearance in a conservative podcast, where she compared the Covid-19 measures adopted by House Democrats to “that time of the history when a certain group of people were required to wear golden stars.”
