One Third of Republicans Believe Trump Will Be Reinstated as President

The results of Politico/Morning Consult Poll published on Wednesday show that approximately one-third of Republicans believe former President Trump will be reinstated this year although the vast majority of Americans dismiss that theory, Politico noted.

More than 84 percent of the Democrats, 61 percent of the Republicans and 70 percent of independents dismiss the notion that Trump will be made president after it is proven Biden cheated in the election.

The poll results come after former president has also been telling people he expects to be reinstated by August of this year with New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman reporting last week Trump has been pressuring conservative media to legitimize his conspiracy theories about widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The Politico/Morning Consult Poll’s results also show that solid majority of GOP voters are still supportive of Trump and his policies with 59 percent wishing to see him play a major role in the party, while a significant amount of Republican voters hoping he will run for president again in 2024 although Trump has not confirmed his future political plans.
