Caitlyn Jenner Says She Stands in Full Support of Building Border Wall

Caitlyn Jenner, the Reality TV star and transgender woman, who recently announced her run for the gubernatorial seat said that she stands in support of building a wall on the border with Mexico, Fox News informed.

Jenner stated that she backs the legal immigration, but also wants to see a wall built at the border. Although, this might sound as a contradictory statement, she underlines that both things can be supported at the same time, and that a country cannot be secure without a solid wall.

The olympic medalist also stated her intentions of ending California’s “sanctuary state” status and will try to amend the broken immigration system, by deporting criminals that illegally cross borders.

Jenner puts the immigration politics high on her list of priorities if elected.

After it was certain that the incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom will have to face a recall election, Jenner immediately stepped in, and announced her candidacy for the post. She is now part of the leading candidates from the GOP John Cox and Kevin Faulconer, a gubernatorial candidate from 2018 and the mayor of San Diego.
