Former President Bill Clinton and famous author James Patterson will write another novel together.
According to the publishers, the novel, ‘’The President’s Daughter,’’ will be released in June 2021.
The Associated Press reported that the novel will be a joint release by Alfred A. Knopf, which has released other Clinton works, as well as Little, Brown, and Company which has long published Patterson’s novels.
Bill Clinton issued a statement in which he said:
‘’I never imagined I’d be writing a book with a master storyteller like Jim, much less two. I was grateful for the success of the first book, and I believe readers will enjoy reading ‘The President’s Daughter’ as much as I’m enjoying working on it.’’
Patterson said that working with the former President has been a highlight of his career and that he is thrilled to have the chance to write with him again.
According to the Associated Press, the novel is a standalone and not a sequel to the first joint book Patterson and Clinton released. Publishers said the story follows a former president of the United States whose daughter is kidnapped.
