RON’S COMMENT: Trump carried Ohio by a substantial 8 points in 2016, now he’s losing the state to all three Democrats tested. Ohio voted Republican in three of the last five presidential elections….On impeachment, 47% of Ohio’s general election voters support it, while 43% oppose it. Democrats support impeachment 79% to 14%, Republicans oppose it 75% to 12% and Independents are split with 45% opposing and 44% supporting…. Pence as the GOP nominee: When VP Mike Pence replaces Trump as the Republican nominee, he loses to Biden by 8 points and trails Sanders and Warren by 2 points…..Gov. Mike DeWine (R): According to this poll, DeWine’s job rating is a weak 30% approve/34% disapprove.

RON’S COMMENT: Biden holds a slim lead over Sanders in Ohio among Democrats. The poll report finds that “Sanders is holding onto a majority of his 2016 supporters in Ohio, as 57% still support him. 16% of 2016 Sanders supporters now favor Warren, 10% now support Biden and 8% now support Harris. Biden, on the other hand, holds a strong lead among those who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016. He receives 47% support from Clinton primary voters, followed by Warren with 29%, and Buttigieg, Sanders, and Harris with 5%.”
