RON’S COMMENT: Today’s average is based on five polls, ranging from 41% (Monmouth) to 50% (Rasmussen). Without these extremes, it would be 44%. President Trump’s disapproval rating averages 52% today (-1 from Friday), which is 7 points higher than his approval rating…. Demographics: According to The Hill/HarrisX poll, Trump’s approval rating is 51% among men, 42% among women, 56% among whites, 14% among blacks, 32% among Hispanics and 42% among Asian-Americans.

RON’S COMMENT: This poll finds a total of 57% of Americans are satisfied with the U.S. economy today. That’s down from 68% in November.

RON’S COMMENT: When it comes to personal finances, a total of 69% of Americans are satisfied. That’s down from 74% in November.

RON’S COMMENT: While most Americans are satisfied with the economy and their own personal finances, only 27% feel confident that life for their children’s generation will be better than it has been for them. Two years ago, it was 35%.
ANGRY AT POLITICAL SYSTEM

RON’S COMMENT: A heavy majority of Americans say they are angry at the political system because it’s only “working for the insiders with money and power.”

RON’S COMMENT: Prime Minister Boris Johnson has the highest positive rating of all British politicians rated, even though his negative rating is higher. His positive rating is better among Boomers (35%) and Gen X (34%) than with Millennials (24%). He does slightly better among men (33%) than women (30%)…. May is former Prime Minister, Balls is a retired member of Parliament, Corbin is leader of the Labour Party, Khan is mayor of London, Farage is the former leader of the UK Independence Party and now heads the new Brexit Party, Major is former Prime Minister, Davidson is leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, Blunkett is a former member of Tony Blair’s cabinet and Sturgeon is the First Minister of Scotland and Leader of the Scottish National Party…. Note that Farage has the highest negative rating (56%) and Corbyn is second at 54%. Only Davidson has a net positive rating and Blunkett is even.
