Actor Tom Arnold Claims to Have ‘Unreleased Tapes’ of Trump

Actor and comedian Tom Arnold claimed in an interview on Friday to have unreleased recordings of President Trump similar to the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape released during the 2016 election, The Hill writes.

In an interview with CNN, the actor was asked directly by CNN’s Poppy Harlow whether he had “any tapes of the president that the public is not already aware of.” “Yes,” Arnold responded.

Asked whether the unreleased recordings related to Trump’s time as host and executive producer of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” Arnold replied, “We have a lot of things.” In an earlier interview with NBC News, Arnold had said of Cohen, “This dude has all the tapes — this dude has everything.”

Arnold plans to release recordings of Trump from over the years on his upcoming Viceland special “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes,” which according to an announcement from the company will feature Arnold as well as investigative journalists and entertainment executives in a search for damning materials related to the President.

“VICELAND has also set up a secure website where any whistleblowers or sources can go to send leads or actual footage—all of which will be vetted and authenticated—to help Arnold on his quest for the truth,” the press release states. “He’ll be backed up by a handful of experienced journalists, and—aside from trying to uncover the tapes themselves—he’ll look into the companies and tycoons who have allegedly fought to keep the damning recordings a secret.”

During the bizarre CNN interview Friday, Arnold also claimed that he would be spending the upcoming weekend with Cohen, which the longtime Trump lawyer forcefully denied on Twitter, The Hill writes.

“I’m spending the weekend hanging out with Michael Cohen, and there’s a lot going on,” Arnold said, addressing Trump through CNN’s camera. “You’ve disrespected him and his family and there’s a lot going on.”

Cohen denied that the pair had talked about Trump, writing that he merely posed for a selfie with Arnold and was not spending time with him for the project.
