Saudi Arabia Celebrates 87th National Day: Booths, Live Entertainment to Honor the Kingdom’s Cultural Heritage

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington D.C. hosted an event on September 23, on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the country’s establishment. With the National Building Museum bathed in green light, a variety of performances, concerts, traditional food and dances, Saudi Arabia showcased its vivid, rich, centuries-old cultural heritage.

Distinguished guests and visitors had the chance to delve into the richness of the Saudi culture. They witnessed a plethora of live events in honor of the Kingdom’s long-standing tradition and achievements.

Following the latest tech trends, a virtual reality booth was staged, offering a mind-blowing visual experience and a hands-on look into Saudi society.

The economic and social advances under the government program Vision 2030 were presented along with the Kingdom’s potentials and projected future.

The dynamism of the U.S.-Saudi partnership and socio-cultural ties took center stage at the event, including Saudi’s ongoing support following Hurricane Harvey’s devastation in Texas.
