Looking for some exciting ways to spend your weekend? Well, look no further. Here are some suggestions for ways to enjoy the beautiful days of fall.
Friday October 5th
On the first Friday of every month, Truckeroo is held at Navy Yard in the Bullpen. The festival hosts over 20 food trucks, live music, and cornhole. It’s free admission and the event lasts from 11:00am – 11:00pm so you should still have time to head over there after a day at the office. Many popular D.C. food trucks around the area will be in attendence including the Lobster Truck and Cap Mac. Do not miss all these awesome food trucks in one place.
Saturday October 6th
Do not miss out of Virgin Mobile’s Free Fest this weekend starting Saturday morning at 11:00am. The lineup includes Ben Folds Five, Alabama Shakes, ZZ Top, Skrillex, and many more. Sunday October 7th
On Sunday, the Washington Redskins will take on the Atlanta Falcons at FedEx Field. The Redskins (2-2) have a tough game ahead of them. The Atlanta Falcons are currently 4-0, and just came off a close win against the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons quarterback, Matt Ryan, has lead the team to victory so far this season, and he is currently the league’s highest rated passer. The Redskins will need to play strong defense to hold back Matt Ryan. Don’t miss out on this NFL match-up.
